A Quick Note for Scumbags Who Kill Kids

I’m talking about the scum that enter our schools and malls and open fire trying to kill as many people as they can before they take their own lives or are shot down by the police.

There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme nor reason to why someone suddenly snaps and enters a school and starts shooting.  All I know is that some coward has killed little kids in a Connecticut school – 26 dead as I sit here writing.

I can’t even imagine what the parents and loved ones of the victims are going through right now.  My heart goes out to these folks.

There’s also been a rash of these kinds of things in China as well where a crazed man enters a school with a knife and kills as many kids as he can before being taken down.

Is societal pressure so hard on these people they have no other recourse but to kill innocent babies that have no hope of fighting back?

For the Killers

What could possibly be going through your minds to actually plan and then implement a plan like this?  These are innocent people – innocent children- going about their lives and because you’re having a bad day, or a bad week, or a bad life, you show up and take theirs away?

If you’re looking to me for understanding or forgiveness or pity you might as well keep moving.  As a matter of fact do us all a favor and kill yourself before your sickness has a chance to seep out and hurt someone else.

Can’t bring yourself to pull the trigger?  Give me a holler, scumbag.  I’ll help you out.

  1. Amen Jarhead. There is nothing these sickos can do or say to justify these acts of cowardice. Thank God he is dead and not going to be supported by our society for the rest of his life. It just seams that these types of actions are becoming the norm lately. People need to stand up and say something, if they suspect that someone they know is planning or looks like they are planning something like this. There is usually a few signs leading up to them and people look back saying I wish I had said something. Keep up the good work.

  2. The sadest truism of the “gun free zone” is tha if just one of those teachers or anyone in the school had a gun a nd new how to use it, this dirtbag would have likely been dropped before he perpitrated the evil.

      1. Maybe. His weapon had better penetrating and stopping power so you better have gotten the drop on him which isn’t likely unless it’s in a holster right there for you. Hiding behind a desk, he’d just shoot you through the desk.

        1. Been someone who actually worked with patients of mental disorder of the violent kind you will find a lot of them to be cowardly even as they play the part of not know what is going on. Its one of the reason as soon as police or orderly arrive to deal with the perpetrator they tend to cave in. A similar deal happen just a few weeks ago in China in that incident it was a butcher knife of some kind that was used by the deranged individual. People like to believe most people with mental disorder will not become violent, since most people are not involved in taking care of the 10 of millions of deranged people born with one kind or another of mental disorder they think its like in tv shows which its not. Lets not forget we area a country of Sheeple (or at least people who like to have simple fixes to complicated problems.)

It was not that long ago we realize that its better to attack a hijacker than just do what they say and everyone will be fine. Dumb, dumb dumb.

Thing sure have changed when it comes to flying so why do we still play with Gun Free Zone like its some kind of magical force field that keeps people out.

      2. Maybe. His weapon had better penetrating and stopping power that any pistol you would have, so you better have gotten the drop on him which isn’t likely unless it’s in a holster right there for you. Hiding behind a desk, he’d just shoot you through the desk.

        1. Any 9mm would have done the job, this guy was not superman (0’0′). A bullet is a bullet and as soon as someone starts shooting back these kind of people are cowards which is why they don’t go shooting up a police station or Mil Base. Don’t get reality mixed with movie making, shooting thru desk and walls does happen but its harder than you think and mostly when someone is pumping lead and hollow point your way.

          Reason I like my 9mm 17+1.

  3. I have a son that is 19 and I just turned 41 we where talking about this today as we was feeding livestock. I looked at him and said what in Gods name was he (the shooter) trying to accomplish. My son looked back and said it’s all about how you’re raised dad. I know there are parents out there that do the best they can to raise their kids and some turn out bad. But it seems parents want too much for themselves and there children that they forget time together is what they need the most. You have both parents out working to pay for junior to eat ribeye. My junior helps me feed his ribeye till it’s time to eat it.

    1. I agree. I also would add that most parents are not teaching their children the respect of life. Whether it be their own or someone else’s life.
I am happy to see that a father and son spend time together like you and your son. Its makes me hopeful that there are still fathers out their who care more for their families than themselves or their bank account.

    2. Totally agreed but this situation was beyond spending time and more towards parental denial. Reading about the shooter, this guy should have been in a facility (which she could have more than afforded), rather than learning how to shoot and use guns. This mother got EXACTLY what she deserved, to bad it wasn’t just her.

      1. I agree with you ThatGuy, although I believe that everyone should have some experience behind a firearm, that is if there mentally capable of it. Another note would be if parents would just punish their children when they do something wrong instead of just yelling/sending to room/or “having the talk” with them, they might just turn out to be better individuals. Children also need to spend time outdoors whether it be a sport, camping, hunting/fishing, boy/girl scouts, or even hiking. Instead we let our children sit behind a screen all day having a so called life over social networks. Don’t get me wrong social networks can be very useful tools but they do not need to be something that you have to separate yourself from real life to tweet about your new shoes. We need to go back to haveing real lives and real friends. A real friend would help someone in need in person and not ask what’s wrong over Facebook.

    3. Its not how your raised this perpetrator was “mental” you know genetics and not you or anyone else would have helped, they are just broken people and though most don’t act out their madness it does not mean its not there and ready to pounce on weaker individuals. If we ever actually have SHTF you will see how nasty humans really are and no education or how a person was raised is going to delete 10 million years of primitive nasty history.

  4. This is a horrible act of a coward. Well said, I also would love to help this sicko out. I pray that God gives peace to those terrified people in CT

  5. l agree that this is a tragedy and my heart goes out to those families of those people. My grandson is in elementary school so l can just imagine what l would be like if something like this happened.
I also agree that if the teachers were allowed to have a gun, he would have been stopped before all those people were brutally murdered.

Now to put on my tinfoil hat. The worst thing about this IMHO will be what comes next from the government. l got to hear a part of the speech made by the POTUS and l fear that we will be seeing even more legislation to ban as many types of guns as possible. If we were to look up how many deaths and injuries caused by texting accidents in a year or how many from drunk driving, we would find it’s more than all the victims of the past few shootings combined. However, l don’t see alcohol or cell phones being taken off the market because of the tragedies these items (used inappropriately) have inflicted.

“taking off hat” What makes a deranged individual do something like this? l can’t even imagine. l think it goes back some to yesterdays post about everything being “me” oriented. I’m mad and l want someone to suffer because of it. Between the violence in video games, tv, music, and movies, we have come to look at death and killing as an easy thing to do. The days when the thought of taking the lives of another was unthinkable has turned to not just commonplace, but to some it’s actually “cool”.
For now all we can do is offer our prayers to GOD to help these families and thank Him for this scumbag doing to himself what we all would like to do to him.

  6. Jarhead, there are EVIL people in this world. Some people use the term “wired wrong” but the truth is they are just EVIL. This guy was no different than than a monster that “hurts” kids in other ways…EVIL !

  7. Evil, not sick or crazy. My heart aches for those children and their families.

I spent six weeks in China in the summer of 2010 teaching English to teachers (kindergarten teachers and middle/high school English teachers) and the “rash” of attacks on children was going on then too. The one that sticks is a “man” with a cleaver killed several children before being subdued. He was tried, convicted and executed in one month.

Yeah, I’m a teacher (social studies, Geography and History) and a shooter. Several of my coworkers came up to me and said, “We need people like you to be armed.” The “people like me” thing bothered me a bit, until one said, “You know, trained and stuff.”

The president said, “We’re going to have to come together to take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics.”

I couldn’t agree more. We need to put an end to the ridiculous notion that a law, backed up by a sign, can prevent someone intent on doing evil from accomplishing his goal. We need to realize that evil people do evil things, and the ONLY way to stop them is by being prepared to respond to their violence with violence.

Offer our teachers training on use of force and firearms, and have them carrying firearms to protect our future. Aren’t our children important enough to have armed and trained men and women there to protect them?

    I’ll be first in line.

    1. “The president said, ‘We’re going to have to come together to take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics.’”

That statement bothers me because it could be seed planting the idea for gun removal – “regardless of politics”.

      1. That seed has long since been planted , now watch as the horrendous fruit blooms .
Sad times all around for us , everywhere .Parents everywhere frightened to send their kids to malls or even school .
Liberals standing on the child’s corpses to push their agenda .

Dark clouds for all on the horizon . . . may God help us all .

  8. They’re quick to put the blame guns… but not the PSYCHO that was holding them. True, a gun was used, but recently in China, a PSYCHO stabbed 30 school children. If a psycho wants to conduct evil acts, he will accomplish his goals. Obama administration was quick to start saying that ” They will be actively pursuing a ban on assault weapons.” An Assault weapon wasn’t even used. Any ways, banning guns isn’t the answer. Bad guys will get them. My question is… Regardless of his mother being a teacher, how was this psycho able to just walk right into this school so easily? I’m a LEO, and my wife is a teacher. Even in full uniform, If I needed to drop something off at her school, it’s impossible. I graduated from her school, and still have to get buzzed in, and stand by until I’m escorted. It’s a shame. You would think that they would have learned from the past school tragedies…. How easily people forget…. Don’t ban guns, because you might as well ban alcohol, knives, cars, cellphones, cigarettes…. and the list can go on…. Prayers to angels that were killed, and the families affected in this tragedy.

  9. like the pilots that wanted to be armed ( although there was a big push back from the government aka TSA ) teachers should have the ability on a volunteer basis to be armed as well

it’s unrealistic to have a cop at every school. arm the men and women who work at school everyday so they can shoot the filthy scum like the rabid dogs they are.

and if they survive have them drawn and quartered !!!

    1. Why is it unrealistic to have a cop at every school? Because the rich are so rich and pay almost no taxes in most states and the middle class which is most of us if not all of us here have to pay for it all and we have not seen a raise in standard of living for 20 plus years is that why.

Teachers with guns “I have no issues with it, but I want it on them at all time not in a F desk so that they forget to lock the drawer and now we have another dam issue. So who thinks here teachers are going to be packing?

Pilots sure, what guy does not want to pack just incase, but the amount of women who do I can count in one hand. No putting down any females its just years of experience and real life.

  10. I bet we will come to find his parents had a long history of dealing with him and psych issues. (wondering out loud here…) perhaps the usual on and off meds because his ‘right’ not to take them. In and out of treatment facilities because insurance says”you’re cured now get out”. We will never get the whole truth, an indefensible, horrible crime has occurred, again, and as the mother of a 5 & 7 year old kids, my heart is heavy with sorrow and fear of what we are living amongst.
God bless all those souls lost today….minus 1.

  11. I pray for the brother, sisters, families and children of all who were killed at that school in Connecticut today.

The problem is not the guns; the problem is the idiot who has emotional problems and takes his anger out on those around him.

Why? Only God knows. I’m guessing his family doesn’t even know why.

There are many mental health patients living in halfway houses trying to cope with the change into society who should never have been allowed out of the mental institution. It is just not my opinion but if asked in public, most everyone would say put those people back behind a security fence.

Experience: 8 years as a USAF Medic and I did work with mental health patients. So I know what I’m talking about.

  12. These dirtbags need to just start killing them selves. I understand being in pain and hopefully people can get the help they need, but if not just eat a bullet, pills, slit the wrists, what ever. Stop killing other people.

  13. Agreed. Train and arm the teachers. Our children are too precious not to be guarded against evil. Lord, comfort the families, whose babies are no more.

  14. Eternal rest grant unto them oh Lord, And Perpetual Light, shine upon them. (Amen)

as usual, the anti-gun people couldn’t even wait until the bodies were removed from the crime scene. they are as Evil as the shooters.

  15. I totally agree, Jarhead. I’ll be more than happy to join you or provide back-up! Our society, as we’ll as in other countries, is full of these cowardly deviants,. If only others would get involved and be more aware of their surroundings/ take note of others around them. I can’t imagine the anguish of the families of the victims, prayers for all.

  16. As I have read through comments on various blogs, I see many stating that the shooter must have been sick, psychotic, or otherwise mentally ill. I am a psychiatrist and work daily with people that have mental illness. I can assure you that these acts are not the result of mental illness, but evil. This man’s acts and similar acts that have occurred recently have all been premeditated acts of violence. This is evil. This is sin.

We are all looking at how such acts can be prevented in the future. It has been said that man will be ruled internally by his own sense of morality or externally by the rules of society. Much of the discussion I have seen has been focused on the later. Unfortunatly, relying on external factors to control man’s behavior has repeatedly failed throughout history and has only led to restricted freedoms and tyrany. Our society needs to take a serious look at our own morality, we have rejected God and expelled him from the public domain. We are seeing the fruits of this labor and we shall continue to reap this harvest as long as we as a nation fail to repent and seek God’s truths.

Gun control is not the answer, nor is arming the teacher. The gun is simply the tool used in the attack. He could just have easily been armed with a knife, a bomb, or driven a car through a crowd of people. The heart of man is the key and I hope we can recognize this. For those inclined to give this man the excuse of mental illness, please recognize that while mental illness may have contributed, the primary issue was the evil in this man’s heart.

    1. Shrink,

While I completely agree with your assessment that evil is the motivation & core issue & not mental illness, I have difficulty placing the blame upon the nation because of a lack of repentance as a whole.

People keep saying that America was founded upon on Christian values or principles thus making us a “Christian” nation. I believe that mindset is flawed but moreover, deeply arrogant. The 1st Amendment states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” this is echoed in the 3rd Article of the Bill of Rights. This includes, by default, all religions. We are a free nation not a Christian nation & that was the true motivation behind divorcing England by our founding fathers.

Like the model relationship with God, it is the individual that must repent, move or give focus towards God and most important – work to advance His kingdom through example & relative evangelism. If you place the blame on others or the “fallen world” in this case, it is greatly diminishes, if not invalidates individual accountability – a subject you as a psychiatrist should know quite well.

I have been a full born-again, Bible believing, follower of Jesus Christ since 1985 & it has been my experience that Christians, as a group are probably more screwed up than most any other “religion”.

That being said, Christians do fit that definition (being screwed up) by publicly confessing they are sinners & imperfect with which there is only one cure – Jesus Christ. I just wish they, individually then collectively, would complete the equation by acting & living by the will of God, instead of conforming to or acting adversely & at the effect of the world which, addresses your main point as to the root of an individual’s point of view.

      Anyway, that’s my opinion.

  17. My deepest and most sincere sympathies go out to the friends and families of everyone involved with these tragic and horrific shootings at both the Washington mall and especially the CT school …..I cant begin to comprehend the agony the families are going through .

    THAT BEING SAID . . .

A single brave man probably saved many more lives at the Clackamas Mall incident ….he is indeed a hero IMHO.
Please read this short newspaper article at the link , it probably wont get much press in the mainstream media ….

    http://www.kgw.com/news/Clackamas-man-armed-confronts-mall-shooter-183593571.html

    1. that, unfortunately is the difference between “them” and us.

He couldn’t safely shoot, because someone else got between the identified target, and a backstop. “shooter” had no such regard.

      1. Regardless of how little attention is paid to Nick Meli’s heroic actions , I will always be convinced that his presence was the factor that made the killer duck into the hallway and take his own , worthless life .

      2. Well said, no they will not talk much about this because there is an agenda by those in power on both side of the political spectrum.

  18. At least he didnt use a gun , not that that is any better . I agree 100% about what you said . Only reason Im glad it was not a gun , is for obvious reasons , so that the communists in this country cant use that incident to try to further undermine the 2nd amendment . We need to stop blaming the device and start seriously looking at the societal reasons this is a frequent occurrence today and start using the propaganda machine and resources to correct the problem . Find out what is causing people to fail to cope , what exactly is the societal stress that is pushing a disproportional amount of people to flip out , and correct the frikin problem instead of blaming it on the knife , or the gun .

  19. What is there to say to the parents and families…a mentally deranged person somehow gained access to firearms that should have been secured. Amen, Jarhead, you hit it really well.

  20. @ Jarhead: For your use:
While stationed at the 92nd Hospital Squadron, Fairchild A.F.B., Spokane, Washington:

    Holiday Gifts
    Date: Sat, 15 Dec 2012
At the base hospital every Wednesday morning, the NCOs would sale donuts for $.25 each in the main
lobby. We received our donuts from a local bakery that didn’t sell on Tuesday – they were day old donuts.
But, I suspected the 12 to 14 dozen that were donated by a local baker, were “fresh” because I do know
the taste of “day old” donuts. Of course, the baker knew what the donuts were used for. We would be out of donuts by 11:00 hours every Wednesday and the donut money was turned over to the Nursing Service Superintendent and the Hospital First Sergeant.

About three weeks before Easter, Thanksgiving and again before Christmas the senior NCOs would identify
any struggling airmen/airwomen in the Hospital Squadron. At monthly Commander’s NCO Call (meeting),
at the door, each NCO was “required” by sheer peer pressure to donate $1.00 per stripe into the Hospital Squadron Welfare Fund.

To those people in need, our squadron we gave gift certificates for the Base Commissary (for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas) and the Base Exchange (so presents for the children could be purchased).

One Thanksgiving, I had a Airman Second Class, (two stripes), from Porto Rico working for me in the Hospital Emergency Room who had just moved his family (wife and two little boys) into base housing – so I knew they didn’t have much for the holidays – I put his name on the list. I forget now how much the gift certificates were, but it always was enough to put out a full Thanksgiving spread and when Christmas came around, the money provided for presents and put plenty of food on the table.

One evening before Thanksgiving, another NCO and I delivered the Thanksgiving gift certificates
to Airman Rodriquez and his wife at their quarters. You should have seen the look of relief on his wife’s
face and the look of amazement on the airman’s face. I told them where the gift certificates came from and
also said that when Airman Rodriquez became an NCO he could repay us by doing the same for his troops.
They saw us again two weeks prior to Christmas with two more gift certificates.

This happened the first year Airman Rodriquez was in the Air Force. Four years later – just before I retired,
that young man was promoted to Staff Sergeant (E-5). That assistance from the NCOs of the Hospital Squadron
really made an impression upon this young man and his wife.

The money from the Donut Sale on Wednesdays and the $1.00 per stripe for each Squadron Commander’s
Call was augmented by donations from the Hospital Squadron Officers. The money was used to not only help families in need, during the Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but it also paid for the Hospital Squadron Christmas Party and the 4th of July Hospital Squadron Picnic/BBQ.

By working together the Hospital Squadron did some wonderful things to help struggling families that were far
from home. Since the holidays were always a tough time for those away from home the first time, it was
great to be able to help them in what the holiday spirit really is meant to be. We had pleasure and the duty to take care our own squadron members.

  21. There are no words to describe how horrible this is. Unfortunately kids die every day by the hands of the adults around them. There are crazy/evil/messed up people everywhere and we have to endure them because it is against the law to “deal” with them. What is the answer? Do will build more facilities to house them? If we change some of the laws to get non-violent people out of the system we would have plenty of room for the crazies. We might be able to house the banksters too. The back story will be how his parents dealt with him, who knew he was capable, and why was he allowed to have access to guns. Maybe he did just snap, maybe not. This will not be the end of the insanity, rats in an increasingly smaller cage. At this point in time I vote for doors that open when you get buzzed in. Arming teachers…maybe, but it will only take one messed up youth to hit a teacher in the back of the head, take the gun and back to square one. Next week will be a tough one for parents as they send their kids to school, not sure how I’m going to deal with it yet. I want to sit outside in my BOV and guard the door. One thing that I am going to do during winter break is talk about Situational Awareness with my daughter. Today schools have lock down protocals in place, I kinda wish my daughter could run out a door into the woods and keep running. Our school has installed doors that only open from the inside, anybody see a problem with that? I think it is a good start. Hug your kids, tell them that you love them, everyday.

    1. I don’t understand how anyone with a mentally ill person in their family could have a gun where the ill person could get to it. It just baffles me.

Here in Washington State we just legalized the possession of small amount of pot, and a big part of the reason we did that was to have more room in prisons for violent offenders. Hopefully more states will follow our and Colorado’s lead.

I’ve helped run group-homes for the mentally ill. It’s actually both cheaper and better to treat the vast majority of the mentally ill that need housing inside of the community they live in, in a regular home. But, at the same time, there are people that are a threat to their community and it is too hard to get them removed from the community, there are too few places to take those people in, and the care most of those people receive is substandard.

It’s mostly an issue of funding. It wouldn’t cost much more to treat these people well, to keep people functional, healthy and in their community and to do right by those who need to be removed from the community.

We can afford to build planes and tanks the military doesn’t want. We can bail out very bankers that tanked our economy by doing shit that everyone knew was stupid. But, we can’t afford to take care of people? I don’t get that.

      1. The issue from what I read was not that there where guns in the house the issue was that she was teaching him how to shoot because she though it would bring her closer to her mentally retarded kid. To much money and to much magical thinking. She should have had the kid committed long ago. Lucky for the other son that he was not around.

  22. in all that is going on in the world one has to ask why?????????? i’m a felon what do i do in a shtf when i’m not allow to use a firearm how do i defend my family. i offten ask is it guns that kill ppl or ppl that kill ppl. with all the the crazys in the world can you think what it would be like if shtf hits And people wonder why gun laws only get stricter.

  23. I think you are missing something important. The person who did this is not sane, he has some mental disability or put another way he is crazy. To try to explain it or use normal words to describe it is useless. Worse; I can guarantee you there are a few more crazy people out there watching TV and thinking that this is the way to become famous. Some will blame this tragedy on guns but the real cause is the MSM’s preoccupation with events like this and the 24/7 coverage. Calling for a ban on guns is won’t stop it but calling for the MSM to stop glorifying it may stop some of these nut cases from becoming copycats.

    1. I think you are missing important – this was an act based upon evil & not a mental condition. Shrink above nailed it pretty well in his first paragraph as well as Mechanic 43. If you think it through carefully, people who are classically insane or having other mental disorders do not do these types of acts – it is driven by a deeply evil desire or motivation.

“Mass Murders” like this school killer falls into the same category as Charles Manson, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Idi Amin etc. They all share a common thread – sane (though most question the rationale) & evil driven. Like Shrink said above, evil is the root.

      1. Call it what you want but normal people do not do this. I think the term “evil” is just a convenient catch all when you can’t explain it. This kid had no clue what “evil” was he was mentally sick and could not understand the meaning of his actions. No normal person could shot a helpless toddler in the head point blank or shoot 18 of them in a row. To simply say “evil” case closed is in itself insane. He was crazy and if he didn’t do this he would have done other crazy things. Just as the guy who pushed a man off the subway platform was crazy. This kid was so simple minded he probably never had a deep desire or motivation in his life.

As for “shrink above” there is an old story purported to be true: A shrink working in a prison had talked to many, many prisoners who had minor mental problems and over time he had become convinced that the reason these men were incarcerated was that the police didn’t know how to deal with them properly. After all he was making great strides in “curing” these prisoners by merely talking to them for an hour once a week. So in an effort to help the police learn how to deal with the mentally ill (who as we know rarely do anyone any harm) was to ride along with the police and show them the right way to deal with mentally ill people. One call brought them to a bar where a drunk was creating a disturbance. The policeman ordered the drunk to put his hands on his head so he could safely frisk him. The man refused and the policeman was about to draw his gun when the Shrink said “let me handle this”. The shrink walked close to the drunk and calmly in his best shrink voice told the man he understood him and how the presence of the police was intimdating him and making the situation worse. The drunk punched the shrink in the nose knocking him to the floor and that was the beginning of the education of a naive shrink.

        1. So what is “normal”? What are those boundaries & who decides them? Obviously, you have no training or understanding with mental illness & have no understanding what evil is other than quoting the well respected & highly educated anarchist soccer mom.

          Is a prostitute “normal”?
          Is a politician “normal”?
Are Japanese sailors who slaughter whales & dolphins “normal”?
A pharmaceutical companies whom bury significant side effects from the general population “normal”?
Is the soldier in Vietnam who kills a pregnant woman carrying a grenade “normal”? (The soldier or the woman).
Is Sean Penn, Lady Gaga, Tom Cruise or …. are you “normal”?
          Is OJ Simpson “normal”?

There is a significant number of the population that would say these are normal AND are not normal. So who decides?

You see, most want to generically say “this person is crazy” to do such an act but that is not clinical – it is a way to justify the act. Evil is the correct motivation & root, other conditions may lay on top of that.

As to your shrink story “purported to be true” …. that certainly does not seem “normal’ to use that to describe all mental health professionals but then again, when ones scope is so limited, it would fit.

“There is more hope for a fool than for someone who speaks without thinking.”

          1. Well written! I lost count of the gratuitous insults. I must have hit home. Too bad, grow up.

The problem with waiting until someone commits a horrible crime and then just chalking it up to “evil” (whatever that means) is that you learn nothing. People who do this are mentally ill. Most people can recognize mental illness when they see it but it is true that working with or knowing mentally ill people helps you see some of the “tells” early on. If you can identify that someone has a mental problem before they act out then you are miles ahead of the game and don’t have to wait to see if they are “evil”. Generally speaking you cannot “fix” someone who is mentally ill. You can palliate them, you can guide them through counseling ( if they are willing) you can ignore them or you can distract and divert. The lady in the story from the link is playing around with 2 or 3 of these techniques but sooner or later she is going to lose this game. If she is lucky it will be limited violence but enough to wake her up and convince her she cannot handle this kid. The psychiatrist may make excuses for the actions but I can guarantee you they will gladly take them as a patient for $150-$300 an hour once a week. Can they fix them? Nope they will either medicate them or if the illness isn’t too serious (meaning you could just ignore them too) they will counsel them, perhaps foreve, but they won’t “fix” them.

          2. It’s your passive/aggressive nature combined with the circuitous responses that I have fun with besides, you always take the bait & NEVER hit or address things head on. Rather, you take a position of authority with little knowledge …. a bit of an oxymoron & bluster your way through to some interesting conclusions.

BTW, a psychiatrist is an M.D. plus a clinically trained psychologist & you seem to assert that you know more than these professionals with your cute analogies & soccer mom blogs …. now that is Not normal :-)

Because you grew up in an environment that revolved around the many deceptions associated with a traveling carnival, which were perpetrated against the general public (as you said many months back) does not make the entire world suspect …. or does it?

Anyway, I am done with this discussion, have fun with a response which you cannot help but make – it should be a doozie!

          3. I wish I had a dollar for every time someone called me “passive agressive”, I could be retired by now.

          4. Still angry from months ago? You need to see one of those professionals you so highly respect. as for passive agressive could I suggest you look in the mirror. And one last thing; Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas to all. I have 7 beautiful grandchildren and I get to hug them all and these poor people in Ct. have lost that forever. My heart is broken for them all..

          1. GWTW,

Hmmmm, you started with the kid not being sane ….

Not this would make any difference because you already know …. well, everything -

“He didn’t just snap. This takes a lot of planning,” said Mary Ellen O’Toole, who worked for 15 years in the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit where she studied psychopaths and helped capture killers.”

            Further this expert says -

“It’s time we stop putting out the mental health issue as an excuse that he didn’t know what he was doing,” she said.

            and …..

“He wanted to accomplish maximum lethality,” O’Toole said. “He was not out of touch with reality. I think he put some security measures in place so he wouldn’t be stopped.”

Oh I know, I know – you’ll find some loophole that you cannot substantiate in the vail attempt to be right ….

            It is evil.

      2. Evil is magical thinking, people are not evil they are animals and preceptorial with others just been mentally wired wrong. Evil in a Christian sense is a thing which I for one do not believe in. Mass murder is a normal part of human behavior just go and check out some anthropologist news and you will see how far back we where killing each other over power. This is old stuff it just happen that now we see in on the news 24/7.

        1. Animals do not kill for sport, there is a specific purpose for animals to kill – survival.

Evil in any sense is the only thing makes any sense because most all of the mass type murders are a product of “normal” people who just snap under an inordinate amount of pressure. Read about the term “going postal”, it has become an excellent case study of how & why “normal” fall off the cliff.

Your idea of checking history further makes the point of evil – why do humans kill over power? Have you ever noticed how less than 1% convicted murders get an insanity defense to work? It’s because it is proven they knew right from wrong, mentally ill people do not know the difference.

The most controversial point of view but makes the most sense is the Biblical reasoning which is people have evil in their hearts. The degrees vary from person to person but it is nearly innate. Lie, cheat, steal, cut some off on the road, cheat on a spouse, murder – all stem from the same place.

There are no degrees of sin in the Bible, meaning one sin is worse than the other exception the rejection of the Holy Spirit for specific reasons. People themselves have labeled the degrees of sin to justify their own lives & actions.

While you may not agree with it, an objective look at the Biblical possibility may surprise you & actually make sense.

  24. Still stunned….Can’t understand why the kids!?!?!?!
I am with you jarhead…I’ll even provide the ammo.

  25. > There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme nor reason to why someone suddenly snaps and enters a school and starts shooting.

Oh, yes there is. The demon(s) enter weak people that are not able to resist them, they prefer angry people. Many times they prefer to do it next to water. The two serial killers at industrial parks ones, Edgewater Danvers MA and Edgewater, FL, as an example, Green Bay, etc.

You are a Marine, aren’t you? You haven’t seen the elephant and how fast they can move? I have been amazed once or twice. Unless there is a highly trained solider or a strong Christian when they enter a place, these wolves slaughter all the sheep.

    > Still stunned….Can’t understand why the kids!?!?!?!

The terror is their fun, plus, when they take out children, they take out a seed line, and Satan gets another death sentence reprieve. It is what abortion is all about.

Why the kids, well, I have a theory about that. I think right before they make the guy kill himself, they jump into a child they have had their eyes on for a while, maybe one of God’s elect, so they can torture them and try to convert them. Then they soak up all the attention by the adults, basically mocking them behind the child’s eyes. Then people attribute it to nightmares and such. Where they have to be careful is if they met a Christian overcome with grief and he gets a brief glance at the truth, it can mean instant death for the demon. So, they really plot these attacks out in detail in the USA. Commie China is am unlimited playground for them with little prep, imho, of course.

    > The one that sticks is a “man” with a cleaver killed several children before being subdued.

Yes, I posted a link to that Friday/Sat on twitter. It was 8 people dead. They had I think six in a row, one by gun. For some reason, they wiped the gun one from the search results. I remember it was the city manager or something that was allowed to have a gun. In two attacks, the police were even outside the schools guarding, I think one was the Sept 2011 event.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China_school_attacks

BTW: Want to try something interesting, try finding the story about the plane that crashed into a high school a year ago or so with a couple of people inside during a “training” flight. That has been buried too.

    > The president said,

The thing called Obama said this:

“May God bless the memory of the victims and, in the words of Scripture, heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.”

How did vain Obama twist the word of God here, do you know?

    > i’m a felon what do i do in a shtf when i’m not allow to use a firearm how do i defend my family.

What did I post here a week or so ago before this happened?

I said move out of a blue state, especially if you have children.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Us_presidential_election_2012

Is CT a blue state? Was it bad advice?

Head to heavily wooded hill country in a red state, where bows will be on equal footing with guns close up, if you get a first shot with a broad head. That and maybe getting a pardon or anulment for your felony. I feel for you, I think everyone should be able to own firearms once their debt is paid. Far worse things are coming in the long term, were firearms will be of little use anyway. Arm yourself with the gospel, God is capable of protecting his own, and maybe he will lead you to someone that will help protect your family.

I think it was early 2010 ? I started warning people that evil was going to start striking at malls, churches, (FTE members correct me on this one) movies, and schools, and that we had to arm school teachers and be armed at church. Last year, at the church right up the street the female pastor was talking on the phone, when she let a man in knocking at the door. He beat her, raped her, and robbed her before the friend on the phone or the police arrived and the main reason they captured him a few days later was he was still using her cell phone. Solution in GA? No guns allowed in churches. How about those two pre-teens holding up the 20 something woman with a gun in a church parking lot last week?

God promise these events 2,000 years ago and in our wisdom we have ignored his word.

BTW: I still suggest if you live in a blue state that promotes homosexual marriage, you should move yesterday, especially of you have children.

Familycides are still 10x the rate they were BEFORE Obama was elected, I do not expect it to get any better. Anyone that takes out their family is certainly capable of taking out yours.

There are crazy/evil/messed up people everywhere and we have to endure them because it is against the law to “deal” with them. What is the answer?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Us_presidential_election_2012

    1. I’m with ya on this one John Brown. It’s difficult enough to get people to realize there is a God, let alone the devil or evil spirits. They scoff the idea of possession. if “Big Pharma” doesn’t sell (or have in development) a medication for it, it isn’t a problem.

        1. it works, for awhile.

          Vallium is good too.
EVIL Spirits are real, unfortunately. medications don’t help with that.

      1. Yes and having run summer camps where there were sometimes multiple children on Ritalin in one family, I can safely say 1/2 the problem is probably not the kids, but, the messed up parents taking the easy way out.

I like to read II Tim 4 from time to time, since I know evil spirits hate it. I still think it holds more truth in the original language, that gets lost in translation. Either that or they still can’t hold up to even repeating Paul’s words. Perilous times indeed.

    2. John Brown,

Hmmmm, move out of Blue States …. this is a list of the top 10 most violent states in the US.

      http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/13/10-most-violent-states_n_848317.html#s263628&title=1_Louisiana

I believe 9 out of 10 of them are Red States.

Colorado, a Red State had Columbine remember?

Point being it is everywhere, random & the probability for violent crime is much higher in Red States – even your example of the female pastor getting beaten & raped was in your home Red State.

The axe you grind on Obama may be better if set aside & you followed God’s instructions regarding secular authority.

      Rom 13: 1-7
      Titus 3: 1-2 (especially V 2)
      1 Peter 2: 13-17
      1 Timothy 2: 1-2

  26. I’m effected like all you are. My mother pass on in September and I was more effected by those kindergarteners who were murdered. That principle and those teachers who were killed are heroes in my book.

As I thought, the shooter had mental problems. His brother said so.

My thoughts and prayers are for the families of all who were killed and for all of the children at that school. Most of the children will never forget this event as long as they live and will have negative effect on their ability to “trust” people.

Get those people behind a very tall strong fence. Keep them there until they are able to cope with life’s challenges.

    God help them all.

    1. 1982MSGT,

I truly sorry that the murder of strangers, no matter how tragic, affected you more profoundly than the death of your own flesh and blood mother. My dear departed mother was worth a thousand children to me! God rest her soul.

P.S. Maybe you need counselling to deal some unresolved issues between your late mother and yourself.

  27. Our prayers and condolances are with you. The horror and pain you feel are indescribable.

What disturbes me now is that anti-gun groups throughtout North America are using this tragedy to push their gun control agenda before these little angels bodies are even cold.

It’s NOT more gun control that’s needed, it’s more money funding mental health issues on all levels of government. People always blame the tool and not the individual who uses the tool. Obviously this sad individual was very sick. There must have been red flags but nobobdy stepped up to the plate and spoke out. If you want maximum notoriety and media immortality, attack society’s most vulnerable…children.

Schools are designated as ‘gun free zones’ and it is because of this that sick undividuals take advantage of these ‘soft’ targets. Do these nut-bars ever attack a police station? Of course not. School administrators should copy the Israeli program of placing armed guards in all schools. Since this effort was put in place, terrorist gun men have stopped targeting Israeli children.

But, unfortnately, bureaucrats and politicians will continue to pander to leftist anti-gunners and continue to push for more gun control…even it it does nothing to stop the madness.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result!

      1. … they, and the DEVIL are fellow travellers.

while we struggle for “equality of opportunity”, the communists, or the “Power Elite” create their own opportunities. “Fast and Furious” didn’t work. they were exposed, although there is a conspiracy of silence in the media. (and hey what’s a few hundred extra dead Mexicans between friends…)

But we can’t ignore it when they do it to “our” children.
(it’s always: “it’s for the children”) They will do whatever they can to cause an outcry against guns. but the criminals in government and the “private sector” will still have them.

        If,
we give up our guns we will be exterminated or enslaved.

  28. A big +1 for all the folks that have spoken about needing more and better treatment for the mentally ill. Thanks.

One of the things that we need is a national wide Laura’s Law.

“Laura’s Law is a California state law that allows for court-ordered assisted outpatient treatment or forced anti-psychotics in most cases. To qualify for the program, the person must have a serious mental illness plus a recent history of psychiatric hospitalizations, jailings or acts, threats or attempts of serious violent behavior towards [self] or others.”
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura's_Law

  29. This is just a simple thought, however maybe just putting it out there for someone else to think or talk about it may possibly catch on. Why not install a simple deadbolt or heavy duty throw bolt on every classroom door in every school, daycare, or college in the US. They’re cheap and effective and even a small child can be taught to use them. I’d love to see my tax dollars used on them. Someone could call it the “School Lock Install Program” or something more politically correct like the “Safe Learning Initiative Program”, or “S.L.I.P.”. I’m pretty sure their are millions of Americans out there who would donate a few dollars, locks, or hours of their time to help prevent the loss of even one life in their community. We could even up the ante by asking local companies, retailers, manufacturers, tradesmen, and governing bodies to go a step further to donate their resources to installing magnetic lock systems with panic buttons in local schools. If someone were to ask their local home improvement store for a donation of materials would they refuse? If you asked a mother or father who knew how to use a drill and a hole saw to donate a few hours of their time, would they refuse? If you asked the local school board, PTA, government to let you install some locks that may (if ever needed ) prevent a loss of life, would they refuse? I wouldn’t it’s been forever since I’ve stepped into a school or talked to a principal. But this week I think I’ll try. Now what if one, one hundred, one thousand, or a million did the same to.

  30. I blame the parents first of all. Second, I blame the media. Parents are the first line of defence in matters like this. Parents have to teach their children respect and quit treating them like children when their adults. A large majority of individuals under the age of 35 act as if the world owes them everything and expect it. If they don’t get what they want then they will take it to a level that involves acts of violence or immaturity. This generation needs to get their act together before they make it the last generation.
Our media doesn’t help in the situation by completely altering the focus to the suspect and making them famous. That is one of the only reasons these sick individuals do these types of acts. They know the media will put there face on every channel every hour for months even years. How many times have the victims been publicized. How many people can name the victims from Virginia Tech? Or Columbine? Or even the Colorado theater? Everyone knows the suspects though. Kinda ironic. But yet the government still believes that by making gun laws stricter that this will eliminate these types of acts. Last time I check we are still in a war against drugs. Not sure when it started exactly but I can tell you is, we are still losing the battle. Drugs are illegal but somehow people still get them and abuse them. And as a side effect commit crimes and some kill others because of it. But the media and our government don’t want to talk much on that issue because there already is a law against it and it would make them look as if they are not capable of protecting us.
As an additional note, I also want to add that it’s funny how we are required by law to send our kids to an educational facility or home school them but the government doesn’t implement any means of protecting them. Some schools yes but most school do not have any means of protection.
Additionally we should honor the young teacher that hid her students before the shooter came to her room and stood up to him and took the bullet mention for someone else. This is an act of courage and should be a kick in the ass for those of us who would run from such evil. I believe she was 27 and had more courage than most people twice her age. She saved the lives of her students and who knows who else. But let’s not forget that the media will make sure we know who shot her though for the next 6 months.
Sorry had to get that off my chest
By the way jarhead, amen to your words, keep up the good posts.

  31. I COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT BETTER JARHEAD. THIS WEEK HAS BEEN A HARD WEEK DUE TO THE DEATH OF A GOOD FRIENDS SON, SEEING PEOPLE HOLDING SIGNS UP ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD SAYING THEIR FAMILY NEEDS HELP,AND THE SCHOOL SHOOTING. ALL I CAN SAY IS ” MY HEART IS SADDEN FOR THE FAMILYS THAT HAS LOST THEIR LOVE ONES OR EVEN WORSE THEIR KIDS. THIS SHOULD BE A TIME OF REJOICING THE BIRTH OF MY LORD , JESUS CHRIST. WHAT IN THE WORLD HAS HAPPENED TO THIS WORLD. A BUNCH OF PEOPLE THAT DOES HARM TO INNOCENT CHILDREN. ” I HOPE YOU ROT IN HELL” FOR ALL THE HURT THAT WAS CAUSED TO THE FAMILY’S OF THE LOST AT THE SCHOOL. AT LEAST THE LORD IS WITH THE KIDS NOW AND THEY WILL HAVE HAPPINESS FOREVER.. BEING A PARAMEDIC AND SEEING DEATH ALL THE TIME,” MY HEART HAS BEEN HARDENED SO TO SPEAK”. YOU NEVER GET USED TO SEEING DEAD KIDS. IF THE DEATH OF KIDS DOESN’T BOTHER YOU YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THE THE BUSINESS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JARHEAD. PUT ME ON THE LIST TO HELP WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING RID OF THE SCUMBAGS. “EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE GUNPOWDER TO BLOW THEM TO HELL”

  32. Instead of giving infamy to the killer the press should instead declare those killers to be non-entities.
Laws declaring it illegal to name the killer, might well go far in stopping the madness. After all, is not the press giving the killer exactly what he is after ? INFAMY !

Stop the press and media from glorifying these events….

  33. With all the talk about this dirtbag’s mental state I’ll just throw this out. I knew a man who was always a little different or strange. Various agencies had evaluated him and always found him mentally competent. Over several years attempts were made to place him under inhouse care of one type or another and he always was released almost immediately. In talking to him he would always laugh and say he knew just what to say to make the doctors happy and get out. Eventually he did hurt someone (No one killed) and finally was locked up. Some of these guys have learned how to play the system and end up never getting the help they need. How many times have we heard the same thing…he was really smart but shy or withdrawn or socially awkward. Perhaps he was one of those who could play the game and keep all the worms buried deep in his head. A famous writer once said simply ” there are people out there with dark ideas.

  34. In reference to Adam Lanza:

    LINK: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger%E2%80%99s_syndrome

    Social interaction
Further information: Asperger syndrome and interpersonal relationships

A lack of demonstrated empathy has a significant impact on aspects of communal living for persons with Asperger syndrome.[2] Individuals with AS experience difficulties in basic elements of social interaction, which may include a failure to develop friendships or to seek shared enjoyments or achievements with others (for example, showing others objects of interest), a lack of social or emotional reciprocity (social “games” give-and-take mechanic), and impaired nonverbal behaviors in areas such as eye contact, facial expression, posture, and gesture.[1]

People with AS may not be as withdrawn around others compared to those with other, more debilitating, forms of autism; they approach others, even if awkwardly. For example, a person with AS may engage in a one-sided, long-winded speech about a favorite topic, while misunderstanding or not recognizing the listener’s feelings or reactions, such as a wish to change the topic of talk or end the interaction.[8] This social awkwardness has been called “active but odd”.[1] This failure to react appropriately to social interaction may appear as disregard for other people’s feelings, and may come across as insensitive.[8] However, not all individuals with AS will approach others. Some of them may even display selective mutism, speaking not at all to most people and excessively to specific people. Some may choose to talk only to people they like.[29]

The cognitive ability of children with AS often allows them to articulate social norms in a laboratory context,[1] where they may be able to show a theoretical understanding of other people’s emotions; however, they typically have difficulty acting on this knowledge in fluid, real-life situations.[8] People with AS may analyze and distill their observations of social interaction into rigid behavioral guidelines, and apply these rules in awkward ways, such as forced eye contact, resulting in a demeanor that appears rigid or socially naive. Childhood desire for companionship can become numbed through a history of failed social encounters.[1]

The hypothesis that individuals with AS are predisposed to violent or criminal behavior has been investigated but is not supported by data.[1][30] More evidence suggests children with AS are victims rather than victimizers.[31]

A 2008 review found that an overwhelming number of reported violent criminals with AS had coexisting psychiatric disorders such as schizoaffective disorder.[32]

    1. THAT’s IT!

oh wait, darn. They’re taking AS out of the next DSM, and lumping its sufferers in with other autism spectrum sufferers.

  35. We can all be mad, but at the end of the day we better figure out what the root problem is. I think this blog sums it up well.
    Go to commonsensegonewild.com

    1. Applegate, just read the latest entry on that site. I have to say that Huckabee’s statement was sickening if it was true. I would be willing to bet that most of those families involved were good people. So were they being punished for going to a public school? Disgusting, Huckabee needs to apologize for such a pathetic attitude. That kind of statement speaks volumes about what ails our Republic.

  36. Jason,

Sorry, I try not to read anything on Soro’s propaganda arm aka Huffington Post, so, I can’t comment on the validity of the article.

Unfortunately, I was correct, was I not? If you were serious, you would have asked, how did I know.

    > you followed God’s instructions regarding secular authority.

Do I have to go over it again as how I am following God’s instructions? I would have thought explaining the scripture in detail the 1st time, would have been enough for anybody. If you can’t educate yourself and believe God’s word, I see no need for me to do it every week for you because you did not like the answer the 1st time.

    > even your example of the female pastor getting beaten & raped was in your home Red State.

Again, if you know the tower is about to fall, you get out of the way and as far away as possible.

BTW: Her chances of getting raped would have been a lot less if she followed Jesus’s teaching and commandment to buy a sword. If she ventilated him with (9) .22LR I think he would have been a lot less willing to rape her. A man in Lithonia GA, a few miles up the street, tried to do that to a woman taking a shower, she shot him (9) times with .22LR pistol kept by the side of the bed and he staggered outside to die. He was dead before the police arrived. Her hospital stay was only one day from the injuries when he bashed her about in the shower. The pastor’s hospital stay, a few weeks.

    > Most of the children will never forget this event as long

I do not think any of them will. We had a girl raped in our junior high by a man that broke into the school gym and she stayed single and fairly alone, even though her twin sister married, until at least 2001. Just like someone else I know. He was raped when he was very young by his father and it created a huge hole. He ended up becoming homosexual trying to fill it and now he is dying of AIDs and is homeless. I have hope for the millennium if he does not make it the 1st time.

    > Why not install a simple deadbolt or heavy duty throw bolt on every classroom door in every school, daycare, or college in the US.

Then people will just start burning schools down or ambushing school buses. You can bet the terrorists we have allowed into our country over our Mexican border, already have plans to gun down waiting school buses after school. Ever see how they leave, they wait until they have 8-10 buses full of students and then have them all pull out at the same time. That is 10×55=550 victims waiting to be shot in a tin can and if I was a terrorist I would bring a hunting rifle in the .308 or .30-06 range to get complete pass through and multiple victims.

In the FWIW category, since this isn’t likely to be seen by someone intending to B&E a school. Many schools have automated locking systems on their doors so they lock automatically on a lock down and you can only leave, not enter. BUT, a dead bolt is against the law in many states because of fire regulations because it would be easy enough for people to panic and pile up on the inside of the door and make it hard for rescuers to enter.

    > Do these nut-bars ever attack a police station?

Yes, as an example, one guy managed to shoot four police officers in Detroit.

    > What disturbes me now is that anti-gun groups throughtout North America are using this tragedy to push their gun control agenda

What might disturb you more is knowing the bill that was coming up to allow disabled vets that HAD emotional problems/head injuries to own guns is probably DOA now, so, we will now continue to rob law abiding citizens, that served their country and paid the price, of their God giving right to protect themselves. I keep asking myself, could the timing be better?

Maybe the mother of the shooter did not commit him or seek further help for him, because she did not want him with the stigma of mental health problems that would impact his gun ownership for the rest of his life. Did the restrictive gun laws actually cause the problem?

Two points the media has ignored.

    1. >> Sorry, I try not to read anything on Soro’s propaganda arm aka Huffington Post, so, I can’t comment on the validity of the article.

Here’s the point – whether you read it or not, when it is mainstream like this it is near impossible to be erroneous because facts are facts.

      >> Do I have to go over it again as how I am following God’s instructions?

My scripture reference was very specific regarding the president. I do not see how a “Obama Sucks” blog & the constant references & inferences to him being Satan incarnate complies with the aforementioned scriptures. Maybe try reading 1 Peter 3:9 – it is pretty clear.

EVERYBODY is a sinner & many unsaved & when you meet them with such extreme resistance as you do, it tends to keep them more convicted to their position. Did Jesus resist or not show respect to Herod’s authority?

Who did Jesus hang with & minister to? Hookers, thieves, tax collectors etc – many of the dregs of society. He first & only showed love to them, not ripping into them about their transgressions or whatever. Even with the Pharisees He did not tear into them with 1/100 of the style with which you use & He was far better equipped or positioned to do so.

Moreover, what would Jesus say if He appeared in your presence today …. would He embrace you & say “well done my good and faithful servant?” I doubt it & that is the only measure.

      >> If you can’t educate yourself and believe God’s word, I see no need for me to do it every week for you because you did not like the answer the 1st time.

I understand God’s word quite well, the difference is I do not pick & choose scripture to fit my motivations, I understand the entire context. However when I do use scripture as I did above, they are clear & contextually complete.

You say the raped woman should have followed God’s instruction & picked up a sword yet, Peter was admonished by Jesus Himself for raising a sword & cutting off the ear of the solider arresting Him. In fact, Jesus healed the ear that Peter cut off.

      >> Again, if you know the tower is about to fall, you get out of the way and as far away as possible.

Yes, but what does that have to do with violent crimes committed in your home Red State? You follow up with yet another example of a violent crime attempt which was foiled by taking up a weapon. Sounds like maybe you need to move out of such a violent state …
