This video made me laugh and laugh. It’s totally awesome. Here comes this foreigner to conduct a comical documentary on survivalism in the United States. He finds the wildest of characters to interview. Some of them are pretty cool, others . . . not so much. Grab a cup of morning coffee or an evening beer and sit down. You might find something of value in this, or you’ll get a good laugh at the least.

I’ve seen this before. Kinda funny, but of course very very biased. Figures that an oppressed gunfearing wuss from Orwellian Britain would be against preparedness…

Ranger Man,
You’re right on the green when you said it was funny. I haven’t laughed so hard since I saw that Terminator ‘Chromartie’ get hit across the backside in the Sarah Connor Chronicles premiere earlier this week. Needless to mention that Louis Theroux, the host for the BBC program, definately looked like a fish out or water up there in Northern Idaho. Additionally I like what ‘Mike the Hippie’ had to say about then current events. Despite his differences with his fellow Idaho Residents, at least he acknowledged that the system was broke and it needs to get fixed, sort to speak. Great ‘film documentary’ I’ve already linked it to my pals, along with your site of course!

That show is from 99 or 2000 or so, in case anyone care’s. Louie’s other shows are good too, Weird Weekends is the series that particular program came from.

That is probably a bit closer to a mockumentary then a documentary but it was interesting none the less. I think that people in any sort of group no matter how loose and disorganized need to be careful about how their statements and actions effect the views of other people.

Think what you want about the show but at least it drew a very clear line between people in places like Almost Heaven and the Racist bigots of the Aryan nation. To many times the liberal media tries to put them together. When they are clearly not.

I was curious about the often mentioned Mike Cain who refused to pay taxes on the documentary. After googling him (mike cain idaho), I found a document that said in 2001 his property was seized and sold for back taxes. Poor guy, I guess we should pay our taxes after all.
