Happy New Year From SHTF Blog!

Hey Everybody.

I want to thank all of you for reading, commenting, and visiting during the last year.  It’s truly an honor to know that when we write something thousands of people are going to be reading.  Believe me, the knowledge that a large audience is monitoring us keeps us hard at work.

Sometimes it’s not easy posting five times a week, but you’re worth it, Reader.  You keep us going day after day and it never gets old.  I love coming up with posts that I know will be somewhat controversial and sometimes getting a good debate started.

One last thought.  I don’t always have the time to reply to the comments you guys leave, but I always read them.  Having two young kids keeps me super busy, so I try to put my time into writing (I hope) quality posts.

Having said that one of my many New Years Resolutions is to spend a little more time in the comments area interacting with you guys because that’s where the action is.

Ok, enough with all the serious stuff.

If you go out partying tonight BE CAREFUL!

Hey, if you’re gonna get freakin’ hammered do it right, but just make sure you have a designated driver, ok?  That’s coming straight from Ol’ Jarhead Survivor, ya’ll, so ya better lissen up!

Happy New Year!

-Jarhead Survivor

Happy and Healthy New Year to all of you and your families. I’m not one to make New Years resolutions, but this year I promise to make a big push for self sufficiency and try to grow my network of like minded people.

Happy New Year to you, too. We’re not going anywhere, just sitting at home by the fire and talking with friends and grandkids so the kids can go out, safely I hope. I wish you the very best 2013, with good health, prosperity and an even larger audience. We enjoy you, too!

Happy New Year Jar & Jane! You guys put in a lot of work with this blog & it is fantastic, I love it.

As for me & tonight, I’ll be laying low as usual & having a quiet night of reading & maybe some movie thriller. I am a really good cook, been doing it since I was a teenager & make most everything from scratch – anybody want to come over for dinner?

(Sorry Gone With The Wind – McDonald’s, Dave’s Bread & margarine are not on the menu). Why not end the year with a little more needling :-))

there’s reason that they call this amateur night! Stay home or stay in one place. If you cant there are outfits that will pick you and your car up and get you home, both for pay and volunteers. Happy New Year!!

As my dad used to say before his 4 daughters went out for the evening, “Be good, and if you can’t be good, be careful.” I don’t know how I came across this blog over the past year, but I’m sure glad I did. A peaceful And healthy New Year to you all. Many apps and sites have come and gone off the IPAD this year, but this one is a keeper. Bring on 2013…….
