So now Chavez wants to make OPEC a more political organization. Translation - put the screws to the U.S. through oil, run their currency into the ground, drive up the price of oil, get rich, use oil revenue to give money to the poor and make them dependent on the government - on Hugo himself.
Hugo has a new ally in OPEC - Ecuador’s President, Rafael Vicente Correa. Correa claims that a new war in the Middle East (the U.S./Israel vs. Iran and whoever else) could send the price of oil to $250 per barrel. Let’s not forget the important fact that OPEC used oil as a weapon before to punish everyone that supported Israel in the 1973 war.
Take steps NOW to insulate (literally and figuratively) you and your family from the rapidly rising price of energy. The era of cheap oil IS OVER!

There are a lot worse situations all over the world, the only reazon that the US is concentrating on Venezuela and Chavez is because of its oil.
The US has in place in three countries around Venezuela US troops and mercs ready to act on demmand……. Castro will come to the aid of Chavez if any invasion (liberation) were to happen.
Soon many of those countries selling oil will stop doing so because they will need the oil for their own people……. like Mexico in three or four years.
