More information on Mexico- Thanks to Mountain Steps for the info- stay safe down there!
Hey Ranger, I just put up a link with a video clip from the Texas Senator stating this - so it’s not a rumor.
Mexico is on the verge of civil war on the border and Texas is ready to take matters in their own hands instead of wait for the Federal Government. Your readers might be interested. Peace.

I think I’ve been listening to patriot radio too much, because when the Newscaster asked, “Why would they protest those who are there for law and order?”, what I was hearing was, “When martial law comes here to the United States, you should be a good little sheep and not protest like these people.”
On one hand, the prospect of that violence spilling over the border makes me nervous. On the other, I don’t blame anyone for not wanting the military acting as police officers.

Well rangerman and others,
its heating up down south like well all have been saying. So bullets, beans , and band aides time is a coming for us all. When you take the hot blooded people of Mexico and sooner or later (sounds like sooner) there will be a incident and we will have to defend our boarder , this well cause a massive problems for us like rioting with the illegals and legals and it will be all our fault.
Next i am glad that there not taking the oh lets all just get along stance good for Texas!

I read on a mexican newspaper somewhere that the people where doing it, not because they were paid, but because before the army started doing their business to stop the cartels, violence has skyrocketed. Maybe they want the army out so that the cartels can go back to killing 1 or 2 people a day, not 50-100.

Orig. from AZ about 50 miles from MEX, I dont know when the border hasnt been a problem. Used to be just a couple here and there coming over for a job. As time went on the smuggling and then theft with a hasty return to sell the proceeds, safe from US justice. If you crossed the border for some shopping or tourism there was a chance”Kidnapping” by MEX police for rinky dink violations to be ransomed back to their families for big money. Most of the MEX local police will be in on the illicit activities, its a great supplement to their paycheck.
The further down you went the more crazy it got
Mexicans would stand in front of your vehicle till you payed a couple dollars for a “toll” Even saw a blurb once about the Baja 500, Mexicans would all hang around certain parts cheering on the drivers whist they built booby traps for the vehicles in hopes of disabling some so they could steal the parts of em.
Mexico a great place to stay away from.

The US doesnt want to get involved even when violations and murders and all of the other “stuff” happen here and effect the entire country in some way.
The Mexicans cant do anything, mainly in part due to wide spread and rampant corruption at ALL levels of government. The Cops are corrupt, the Military is corrupt, the Politicians are corupt and the Anti- Corruption Department is corrupt.
I think what the Mexican government needs to do is hire a PMC (Private Military Company). By doing this they will circumvent the corruption. Those who are breaking the laws WILL be arrested. Civil unrest, crime and even the drug cartels will be swiftly stopped and the cost wil be less than 1/3 if they tried to do it themselves and the main reason being they will not be corrupted.
This is not a permanant solution but one that could and would halt all of the bullshit going on there, at least for now. It doesnt come without problems but I think they pale in comparison.
Just my humble thoughts on it. After watching the video I can imagine that happening here in the US before long. Who would be against who I dont dare guess at or say, but any rate, its an extremely unpleasant but realistic thought.
