End of the Week Roundup

There are a handful of interesting stories out there that I thought you all might be interested in…

Radio Dark in San Fran
Apparently some “vandals” cut 10 fiber optic cables at four locations…
The sabotage essentially froze operations in parts of the three counties at hospitals, stores, banks and police and fire departments that rely on 911 calls, computerized medical records, ATMs and credit and debit cards.
This goes to show that knocking out high tech infrastructure isn’t that hard… All it takes is a climb down a manhole, and some heavy duty wire cutters. Don’t you feel *safe*?!

Area 51 is now declassified…


Cyberdine is planning a limited run of 400 of these bad boys… I just can’t WAIT to see some “mashup” footage of one of these cyborgs being taken down by an AA-12…

    We are so vulnerable to simple attacks like this. A couple dozen malicious kids could do an incredible amount of damage to the United States if they were ambitious. Imagine what an organized terrorist group or a major power could do.
