A Toxic Brand & Trump’s Most Heinous Sin

Hillary Clinton is well on her way to 300 electoral votes in November and delivering a near Reagan-esque clinton_article_picturelevel ass-kicking for Democrats. As unlikely as it seemed only a year ago, a career politician as corrupt as the day is long will win the election, even with net favorable ratings in the negative double-digits.  She’ll dissolve our borders, stock the Supreme Court with vegan, transgender tree-huggers and use the power of the federal government to build a nanny state to manage every aspect of our lives.

By Professor Liberty Mize, a contributing author of SHTFBlog

All while the red ink flows and individual Liberty wanes.  And yet, while her election is one man’s fault, it still isn’t the worst thing he’s done.

Sending The Party Off A Cliff

While Donald J Trump may have handed the keys of this republic to a profiteering, untrustworthy mental midget, his most heinous crime against Liberty has gone largely un-noticed.  Donald not only engineered Hillary’s win and put the Republican party on life support, his true sin against humanity is the damage he’s done to the conservative brand.  Despite never earning conservative support, he’s now intent on driving conservatism off of a cliff.  The result will foment decades of distrust and be much more damaging than a single Hillary Clinton term.

Sound dramatic?   I assure you it is not.   Your average voter, particularly the young, now associates conservatism with Trump.  They think that all conservatives agree with him, act this way behind closed doors and endorse his behavior.  Donald Trump is playing a cartoon character of every conservative stereotype and making it simple to paint us all with a broad brush and a palette filled with – racism, misogyny, dishonesty, and hypocrisy.  This will undoubtedly have repercussions for years to come as voters come of age and buy into the false narrative.trump_article_vote_election

How can conservatism attract young people when the version they’ve seen as synonymous with the movement is so unscrupulous and vile? Whether you believe the mainstream media is honest, whether you think we need new policies and plan to hold your nose to get them, one thing is without question.  Donald Trump is a truly wretched human being.  While I can’t speak to his faith, his actions in no way indicate a belief in any God other than himself. Consider the following. Donald Trump has…

  • A documented history of infidelity and dishonesty
  • Been a crass, belligerent, self-aggrandizing ass
  • Lied about self-funding the campaign while using donations to line his company’s pocket
  • Repeatedly sexualized his own daughter
  • Disrespected women
  • Shown he has incredibly thin skin and a hair trigger
  • Been proven to be disloyal and wholly unlikeable

None of these are qualities that reflect conservative ideals.   None could be used to characterize conservative leaders in the past.   They don’t describe Reagan or Goldwater… heck they don’t even describe Rubio or Cruz.

A Moral Imperative

True conservatives accept that that our rights come from God and a politician’s job is to protect those rights and individual liberty.  They believe in morality, fiscal restraint and Reagan’s three-legged stool.   They believe the US is a shining light on a hill responsible for spreading democracy and that living our ideals matter. Trump believes none of this.  He only believes in Trump.  He is a New York City liberal who funded Hillary Clinton with multiple donations, and has the same progressive worldview.

So as we line up at the polls in November and take public stands on social media for and against candidates, I urge you to choose carefully.   Many are watching and noting what conservatives will do.   Trump won’t and can’t win the election no matter what you do, but preserving your personal political capital and being true to conservative principles matters.   Don’t fall for this charlatan’s bait and switch, he’s not one of us and he never was.

I Googled Liberty Mize and found the title of another article written by a Liberty Mize December 21, 2015. The title reads The Thinking Man’s Trump: 3 Reasons the Donald’s Run Will Ensure a Carson Win. Wrong then, and I believe wrong now. The rest of the article wasn’t available for some reason, I would have liked the read it.

Professor Mize: YOU GOT IT ALL WRONG. Trump opened the party to millions and millions of new voters that Paul Ryan and the party could have opened their arms and been inclusive, thereby strengthening the party, building the party, and growing the party. Insterad, Ryan and the other numb-tards did what Republicans always do…push people away, limit the “kinds of people” they want in the party, and THEY, not Donald, just destroyed the future of the Republican Party and its conservatives. See http://www.TotallyRight.us and see the article “Paul Ryan Just Destroyed the Republican Party”.

If Trump “opened the party to millions” as you claim, he should win the general election easily. Yet he won’t.

All he did was win open primaries that included crossover democrats who wanted to prop up their lame candidate by finding her a dance partner who was worse. Aided and abetted by the Mainstream Media of course who gave Trump 100s of hours of free coverage and collaborated to avoid seriously vetting him until it was too late.

Oh yeah, and he claimed he’d spend his own money to get elected but is currently getting outspent 50 to 1 and soliciting donations. Someone got played here. Fairly certain it wasn’t me.

You hit the nail on the head. It was the crossover Hillary supporters who voted for Trump that put him over the top. She already had the nomination locked up because of the super delegates. So, her campaign pushed her supporters in states with open primaries to vote Trump. The Hillary supporters put him over the top and blocked the real conservative, Ted Cruz. This is the only reason Sanders won in certain states. This was a coupe unlike any other. Why do you think the media gave Trump a free pass and didn’t challenge him on anything he said during the primaries. It was so they could beat him up in the general like they are now.

I firmly believe Trump was nothing more than a plant to disrupt the Republican party by Hillary and Bill. They have succeed beyond even their own expectations!!!! Welcome to the new America!!!

Well. I guess he did exactly what I said he did…he opened up millions of new voters that came out and voted Professor Wiseacre. He also was not shut down by Latino’s or women or blacks, was he? Looks like lower taxes, a secure border, real economic growth and jobs seem to be what America wants. The map, county by county, was RED. If you eliminate the criminal illegal alien vote, he won the popular vote also. I drink deeply from the tears of Libtards.

I am a bit late to the party. It’s Dec. 27 here, and…Professor Mize, like almost ALL the main stream media, were dead wrong! (Thank God) What people forget is that Trump…is a winner. He had a plan and he implemented it well. He WORKED,…while Hillary ignored most of “fly over country.” Trump knew that U.S. elections are NOT won by popular vote, but by electoral college votes. (Al Gore found this to be true a few years back) Professor…maybe you should resign and become a STUDENT once again. You, like most of the pseudo-elite, failed to understand the man, and The American Public.

Prof Mize – you are like a broken clock, right twice a day and that is only when you have to take a sh*t. If you have to go a 3rd time, you will mess your britches up. Let me guess, you want us to write in “Lying Ted” Cruz? I think you are missing the frustration level with everyday people. If Trump won the republican nomination and Sanders would have won if it wasn’t for the DNC/Clinton camp fixing the election, you know that Americans are tired of the Bush/Clinton dynasty.

Bless the Budda, what a load of crap! If Trump loses, it will be because the ‘good ole boys’ politics that the Republican party has become so ill-famous for refuses to support Trump. He’s not one of ‘them’ and in my mind that’s a big plus! Both the DemoCraps and the RepublicRats are power hungry and they only give a shit about themselves and the rich and ultra-rich that support them! If pressed, I would call myself an independent voter, but in truth, I usually vote Republican because no candidate for ANY office has much chance of being elected unless supported by either the RNP or the DNP and the DemoCraps are financial idiots; with the RepubliRats not much better! Do I have to believe in an deity (real or imagined) to vote conservative? Personally, if the Bengazi Bitch becomes the 666 Beast that my very-religious grand parents were so afraid of, I won’t bother to ever vote again because it’s obviously a total waste of my time. It’s undoubtedly all corrupt anyway; the Electorial College doesn’t make cheating a possibility, really!!! Wasn’t Reagan diagnosed with Alheimers Disease? Didn’t he spend enormous amounts of borrowed money building up the military, whether it was needed or not? Did those multi-million-(billion?) dollar stealth aircraft and space-based ‘defenses’ really make us safer? Did they stop the terrorists crossing our all-too-open southern border? A ‘shining light on the hill for democracy’; hack, hack, choke, choke!!! The US is not now (even less so now) nor has it ever been a Democracy’ it’s a Republic; that means it’s ruled from the top down, so the Rich and Ultra-rich (like Trump AND Hillary) have always run the country, usually badly! Yes, Trump is an egotist, but Hillary is a LIAR, an egotist, and a murderer (by proxy, of course, she’s rich after all) and those are probably her Good points! At least Trump is a successful business man so he understands how money works, Hillary and seemingly most politicians think money (fiat or not) grows endlessly on imaginary electronic trees to be plucked at their leisure! So ‘professor’, go ahead and vote for Hillary and when she wins and tries to disarm all of us ‘people’ (or sheeple in too many cases) and this country is ripped apart by civil war, you can blame Trump for that too because it will no longer matter; the US will be done! GLAHP!

Not sure how advocating to vote for neither party makes me a mouthpiece for either party. That is the great mystery of this election. People claim insiders and billionaires have corrupted our system, then nominate billionaires and insiders for the office of president.

Fire the fatcats… by electing a different fatcat!

    P. Mize, I think you are missing the main point. People are voting for Trump, not because he’s a likable guy but because he’s NOT a politician, we are sick-to-death of business-as-usual liars whose lies aren’t even dry on the campaign posters before they’re doing whatever they please despite what they just said! Hey, news flash, poor people don’t run for high office because they can’t even start to compete with the bought-and-paid-for mass media! Ultimately, whoever wins the highest office in the land doesn’t really matter because we, the unrich people will always lose when we play their game because they make up and change the rules to suit them because they can! And they make all other games illegal because they make the laws and not to help us! GLAHP!
